You MUST submit the following supporting documents by the deadline as part of your application to be eligible. If any of the required documentation is not provided by the application deadline, the application will be considered ineligible.
Make sure to preview your document prior to uploading and scanned/photographed copy fulfills the following requirements to facilitate your application process:
Ensure that all critical and identifying information are CLEAR and LEGIBLE with good image resolution (do not have shadow, dark spots, or reflections);
Documents must be scanned/photographed with the original color AND at the original size;
Documents must be placed on a flat and plain background when photographed;
The scanned/photographed copy must be complete with no part of the document is missing (i.e. nothing is cropped or cut off);
If the original has information on both sides, ensure you scan/photograph front and back, and submit it as one file;
Documents must be in one of the following formats: pdf, jpg, jpeg, or png.

FOR STUDENT
Passport:
Please provide a copy of your passport where your photograph and personal information is shown. The passport must be valid for at least six months.
Alien Resident Certificate (ARC):
Please provide a copy of the front and back of your ARC.
Student ID card
Please provide a copy of the front and back of your current student ID card.
For online applicants, please pick up your certificate and pay the processing fee at the foreign affairs section service counter of the police agency in charge within the next 30 days from the third day of application. Applicants and proxies (if applicable) should present proofs of identity for verification while picking up certificates. The application will be declared void after the deadline.

FOR NON-STUDENT
Passport:

Bachelor’s degree (or above) graduation certificate:
Applicants should obtain a bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university or college. The list of the accredited universities and colleges is based on the Database for the Reference List of Foreign Universities from the Ministry of Education, Republic of China (Taiwan) website (list).
