Climate in Taiwan
Taiwan has a long summer and a mild winter due to its position on the Northern Tropic (Tropic of Cancer) and boasts a variety of climate zones. Taiwan’s northern and central regions are subtropical, its southern regions are tropical, and its inland mountainous regions are temperate. Generally, average temperatures in Taiwan range from 18°C in winter to 29°C in summer. Temperatures can reach below 10°C in winter and surpass 35°C in summer.
